Valentine's Day 2008

We didn't specifically do something for Valentines Day, this year, but 4 days before Valentines we went to my 3L Barristers Ball. Then the following weekend, my parents hosted a little engagement party for me and Kevin in our apartment in Charlottesville. Kevin and I have been engaged for almost 3 months now. Woo!

My Parents Visit- October 2007

My parents came to visit us at our new apartment in Charlottesville. We hung out on Saturday and Sunday we went to the downtown mall and walked around and had brunch at Bluegrass Grill.

Cruise Ship Pre-Party 2007

For Spring Break, a few of us decided to go on a cruise! I'm so excited, I've never been on a cruise before! Since the people that decided to go don't all know each other that well, we decided to go on a little pre-cruise dinner date together to get to know each other a little better. Obviously, I'm already besties with Brian, Katy, and Sarah, but I'm just getting to know Paul and Mihai, and I think I'm the person in the group that most knows Sarah. Anyway, we will clearly all be besties by the time we get back from the best trip ever.

Our First Valentine's Day 2007

For Valentine's Day on Wednesday, Kevin took me for a nice dinner at Fellini's. Then Thursday a bunch of went to Mas to celebrate his birthday and Saturday was my law school prom so it's been a very busy and romantic week. More about the law school prom in the next post.

Big news too! Kevin and are subletting an apartment in Brooklyn this summer! Jon went and checked out the apartment for us two weeks ago, and we signed a sublease and paid a deposit.

Kevin's 27th Birthday 2007

For Kevin's birthday last night, I sent out an Evite and a lot of our friends went to Mas to eat and drink and celebrate Kevin. Brady, Jinsoo, Timothy, Roger, Audra, Katy, Sarah, Kevin, and I went. We took up about half of the back section of the restaurant, and we had a lot of fun.

We had so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures apparently. Here's the most recent one of me and Kevin I really like.

Kevin invited me to go to the Camera Obscura concert at Satellite Ballroom with him and his friends. The concert was great and I had a lot of fun with Brady, Emily, Nick, and Cory.

NC State v. UVA Basketball 2006

Went to basketball with Brian and Katy. Kevin, Brady, and Cory were there too in the grown-up seats. Haha. We won! (67–62)

Wednesday night a bunch of us went to a basketball game. Roger, Brian, Katy, and I sat in the student section, and Kevin and his brother Andrew sat in the public seats where you have to buy tickets. His brother and other family is visiting for Thanksgiving, but his brother's 23rd birthday was also on Wednesday, so Kevin took him to the game as his birthday gift.

The game was amazing, in part because we could not take our eyes off UNC player, Kenny George who is at least 7'7". And we won, 81–64!
