Jerome, Arizona 2008

Jerome is an awesome wild west biker hangout and a former mining town. Jerome is also known as an art destination, with more than 30 galleries and working studios.

Key West, FL 2007

While we were in Florida, Kevin planned a trip for us to Key West. I'd never been before. So fun!

Coincidentally, Janice and Darren left with Janice's family for a cruise from Key West the next day so we met them for brunch at the Banana Cafe before heading out.

New Orleans 2007

Our cruise ship departed from New Orleans so we drove down from Charlottesville and tried to see some sights before boarding.

Brian's friend Victoria lives in New Orleans so she met up with us and showed us around. This was my second time in New Orleans, but the first time was New Years Eve 1999, and it was pretty crazy. This was nice little Southern brunch tour.

It was also all of our first visit to the city after the 2005 Hurricane Katrina flooding of the city. Victoria says that the city still hasn't fully recovered, though the parts of the city we were in looked very nice.

Valley Forge with Ash 2006

Kevin and I went to visit Ash this weekend. She took us to sightsee at Valley Forge before we headed into Philadelphia together. It was awesome.
