Barrister's Ball is the law school formal dance held every February. Kevin and I went with a group of friends. We had a nice dinner at Vivace before. Then we drank and danced the night away at the Omni Hotel. The decorations this year were so nice.

Feb Club: Old School 2007

We went to another Feb Club Party! Woo! After Katy's birthday dinner, we went a combined law school at an undergrad fraternity house with an "Old School" movie theme. Not sure if there were undergrads there or not. Good times though!

Feb Club: Kegs and Eggs 2007

Sunday, Feb Club consisted of brunch and beer at someone's apartment followed by flag football on Lambeth Field or "The Colonnades." I'm ready for a Feb Club nap.

Feb Club: Snow Pants or No Pants 2007

This Saturday night party was pretty much what it sound like. You could wear snow pants (like for skiing) or NO pants. Most people chose the latter. I don't even ski.

Feb Club: Welcome to the Jungle 2007

Friday night's theme was Welcome to the Jungle, which half the party-goers interpreted as the Guns N' Roses song and half interpreted more literally. Brian, Jackie, and I went as jungle flora.

Feb Club: Prehysteria 2007

Thursday night's theme was Pre-hysteria. It was a general caveman and dinosaurs kind of thing, so Jackie and I went full Flintstones. Two Betty Rubbles is better than one! Brian and Roger were still in full basketball gear when we got there, haha.

Feb Club's Eve 2007

Hello! Feb Club has begun! Feb Club is when UVA Law throws a costume party every single night of February! But because that's not enough, we celebrate the night before too with Feb Club's Eve! Woo!

Barrister's Ball 2006

I don't agree with where UVA puts the apostrophe in Barrister's Ball, but they do so very deliberately so I will follow along. It remains my position though that the ball is for all barristers so it should be the barristers' ball and that furthermore, this is the US so it should be the Attorneys' Prom or some such thing.

We had a preparty in Ivy Gardens. We took lots of prom style pictures of people with their dates, but I'm single for this party so I only care about the group picture.
