B-E-D Section Mixer 2005

Last night we had a section-mixer party for sections B-D-E, which we rearranged into a "B-E-D" party wherein some people wore pajamas and robes and whatnot. Also somewhat inexplicably, but awesomely, there was an ice luge.

Afterwards, a bunch of us went to the law school bar review. Bar review is one night each week the law school picks a bar and we go to it in mass. This week we went to Buddhist Biker Bar because they tolerate us reasonably well and they have an outdoor area.

My section sits together outside in Spies Garden around lunch time. It's right off the cafeteria and surrounded on all sides by the law school. Like I mentioned before, we take all of our classes together this semester, so we also have the same breaks. Also we're kind of attached to each other and help each other when we can. At lunch we sit just outside the building and check email or catch up on homework.

On Saturday Justin and Aaron had us over for a fun little party. Very relaxed, and not too many of us so we really got to hang out.

Girls' Weekend 2005

Last year, my college girlfriends and I went to the beach for our first annual "Girls Weekend." This year, the summer got away from us, so the girls decided to come visit me at my new place. Since I was up in Arlington for Michelle and John's wedding on Friday, Friday night we all slept over Janice's apartment near Pentagon City. Saturday, we bought a bunch of orange shirts, drove to Charlottesville and went to the UVA football game against W. Michigan. GW didn't have a football team so it was a novelty for all of us.

Sunday, we had brunch on the Mall, followed it up with some gelato at Splendora's, and then caught a movie. We ate so much for dinner that we had a strange hodge-podge for dinner that included Megan's spinach dip bread bowl, Christina's crab dip, and ice cream cake... because that's how we roll.

Michelle and John's Wedding 2005

I went back to Northern Virginia this weekend for Michelle and John's wedding. I got a ride up with one of Michelle's friends that is also studying in Charlottesville and was also going to the wedding. The ceremony and reception were at Crystal Square in Arlington, Virginia. It was a lovely wedding. Congratulations!
