We celebrated Brady's birthday this weekend. His parents came to town, we had ice cream cake and lots of beer and wine. Happy birthday Brady!

Jose Gonzalez Concert 2006

Our first concert! Jose Gonzalez was great and I had fun with Kevin. I've never been to a concert at Starr Hill before and it was a really cool intimate venue. A few minutes before the show started though, I spilled some ice from drink. When Jose Gonzalez came out he slipped on my melted ice. I felt so bad! Sorry for almost injuring the musician!

Laguardia Airport 2006

The Charlottesville Airport is not the most reliable airport in the world, but all of our call backs go through there to make it easier to get back to class. I had an interview yesterday morning and a flight back in the early evening, but the flight was delayed and delayed. Jon and Natalie also had callbacks in New York and were stuck in waiting room hell with me. To pass the time we had many drinks in the airport bar.

Visiting Christina and Dan 2006

I had an interview in New York yesterday, and I have another on Monday. I donated the hotel to PILA and visited with Christina and her boyfriend Dan. We went to East Japanese Restaurant in Kips Bay, a neighborhood bordered on the north by Murray Hill; on the west by Madison Square; on the south by Gramercy Park and Peter Cooper Village; and on the east by the East River. They live nearby in Murray Hill, and I stayed overnight with them.

Struggling with Class Selection 2006

Classes this semester are terrible, so I'm trying to move around to make my lot better since THursday. I love Corporations, so that's good. I dropped the rest of my classes yesterday. Comparative Law was a bit of bust yesterday though and I could always go back to it if I needed to. I already lost my spot in Trusts and Estates though. Oh well.

I am now in Employment law, Water Law, AntiTrust (possibly soon to be Admin?) and Corporations. I don't know. This isn't better, just different. I may change again.

Then I really didn't like Water Law, at all. But Comparative Law is going to be a mess. I really don't care how many gallons of water there are in every reservoir. At all.

I have taken one day of practically every class. It's crazy. Right now I'm sitting in International Tax. I am dropping it the minute I leave. It said the only requirement was Federal Income Tax, but it should also require Corporation and Corporate Tax first. I have no idea what the professor is talking about. It's like he's speaking a foreign language.

JPJ Arena & UVA v. Pittsburgh Football 2006

Brian is a Peer Advisor for Section B this year and he invited them and his friends to a pre-party BBQ before we went watch the UVA football game together. The game is actually an away game in Pittsburgh, but as part of the JPJ Arena's opening ceremony party they're showing the football game on the big screens.

Kevin, Brady, and Cory are also went to the game-viewing at JPJ but they have to sit in the public seating, whereas I sat in the student section. Kevin came to visit me during the game though. Afterwards, Kevin, Brady, Cory, Brian, Roger, Lindsay, Molly, and I went to C & O for drinks. This was my first time meeting Cory and he did his best to throw Kevin under the bus as much as possible.
