UVA Law SBA Election Debate 2007

Brian is running for UVA Law President. He kicked off his campaign today at the the Student Bar Association debate for the candidates for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

6-Month Anniversary 2007

Kevin and I celebrated 6 months since our first date yesterday. He gave me flowers and took me out to Monsoon Siam, a super cute and yummy Thai place. I'm very happy.

Kevin and I went hiking at Sherando Lake yesterday. Some stuff is still frozen, but it's light sweatshirt weather.

School Work- January 2007

I'm already staying up late to catch up with the first week's reading.

Camera Obscura Concert 2007

Kevin invited me to go to the Camera Obscura concert at Satellite Ballroom with him and his friends. The concert was great and I had a lot of fun with Brady, Emily, Nick, and Cory.

Scottsville and Richmond 2007

Kevin and I went back to Scottsville and to Richmond the day after he got back from Dublin for dinner and a movie. Like last time, we hung out at a weird grocery store with couches in Scottsville. I don't know why, but it's fun.

Then we went to Richmond for dinner at Buz and Ned's for DELICIOUS barbecue sandwiches. We went to The Byrd Theater, this amazing movie theater there with chandeliers and what not. We found the theater by accident because it was the only place near us still playing Borat.

Kevin Goes to Ireland 2007

Kevin, Brady, Briggs, Jeff P, and Jon went to Ireland together during Kevin's winter break. They started in Dublin and Jon and Kevin also explored some smaller town outside of Dublin. They came back with lots of stories about strange Irishmen they met.

I've been cat-sitting Nomar while Kevin and Brady enjoy Ireland. Nomar and I have been having a nice time snuggling.

Guanacaste, Costa Rica 2007

Katy and I went to Guanacaste, Costa Rica for Winter Break! Woo! We tried to get more law school friends to go but to no avail. That's okay, we had lots of relaxing fun.

Mostly I just sat on the beach, drinking lots of colorful all-inclusive drinks, and reading books for pleasure. No law school books here! I was reading The End of the Affair by Graham Greene and Memoria de mis Putas Tristes by Gabriel García Márquez.

Kevin and I organized a lot of our friends to go to Ireland's Four Courts in Arlington for New Years. Also, we kidnapped Ash from Pennsylvania because she said no. We had a lot of weird fun!
